About Us

My name is Fatemeh (Pouri) Naraghi-Salem, owner of Pouri’s Childcare. I have over 30 years of experience working with infants and children. I have training in early childhood education, including two years as a public school teacher and four years as a professional story teller for a public library. I’ve owned Pouri’s Child Care in Pleasanton for 32 years. I have First Aid and CPR training and carry many awards and achievements.

I offer more than childcare to you and your child. I offer an extended family and support system that nurtures all of us. I offer you peace of mind through a safe, loving environment where your child will be accepted, loved, cared for and stimulated.

My husband and I have a 38- year- old daughter, a wonderful son-in-law, and two beautiful granddaughters who are the lights of my life. I love cooking, gardening, and spending time with my family. I have made life-long friends through my child care and many of the children I have cared for have stayed in touch with me and even come back to visit. It’s been very rewarding for me to support families in our community and watch their children grow up and have children of their own.
